Hi. Sorry just saw this post. Depending on how many guests you have, and your budget there are several good places. Add me if you like, I'll be happy to tell you if good or not.
    Congrats on the engagement

Congrats and welcome to the club.
We started early. Here are the steps we took.
Guest list to know the amount of people to find a venue that can host it and help with knowing our budget. We know what we want so made it easier. We started asking for quotes around on thevendors that will be the highest budget: photographer, venues, DJ, made a simulated list of what we're at budget wise. I went on quoting for transportation, make up, hair, dress, accessories, decors (yes name place is not always included, and little things here and there add up real quick). And a celebrant (or who ever will marry you) is also to be considered in the budget (dwear to god, a bridal sneeze cost $500 lol)When we had the idea of the budget, we started to book what we liked the best.
Venue: food/drinks/decor.. bookedPhotographer: bookedMake up artist (blowing my budget there, but ! ) bookedCeremony: bookedI'm DIYing a lots of stuff, just cheaper (some not! Shop around) and adding sentimental items to them.
The first month was overwhelming, so many things to look for, so much to do. What I did was write down what really matters to us, and what bit so much, so we know where to cut corners and where to put our money. I'm keeping a list of stuff we need (bridal party gifts, invitation cards engagement party.. my god! Should elope would be cheaper, but fiance wants a full thing. Tho I'm perfectly fine going to Vegas dressed as Danarys him as Darth Vader and have Harey potter marry us while we exchange the precious. )
Hope it helps, Congrats again, and yes sooo exciting

Hey Sunshine!! Congrats to you and your fiancé(e) on your engagement!

Have you thought about what style of wedding you would like to have? Your guest list is a really great place to start, as Shannon mentioned because then you know what size venues you will need to look into.

Hello sunshine and Congratulations Smiley smile Welcome to wedding wire.

WW has a great checklist to keep you on track. For starters have you decided on a budget? Also a guest list? After you figure out your budget and how many ppl you would like to have attend? you can narrow down a venue.
