It’s unfortunate that we are still in this almost 2 years later but it’s nice to be able to talk through this type of things with people who are going through the same thing.

For my fiance and I, we just cancelled our reception and are continuing as planned with our ceremony (our venue's 50% capacity is way higher than our number of guests!). We just figured canceling it now is much easier than 2 days before the wedding day if the lockdown continues past the scheduled date (which looking back has happened many times in ON). It's disappointing, but at the end of the day we just want to be married ☺

We just postponed our wedding today. Our first date was Feb 20, 2021. Not sure of new date yet though. We were Jan 29th. Our new date will be before the end of the year. We thought about doing ceremony anyway but since we can't even go to a restaurant after we decided to wait till spring or summer.
