Aug 20, 2021 seems to be everyones date here. As a result of covid, when are you planning on sending your "save the date"?

Fingers crossed the restrictions improve!

Great idea. I think I'm going to add the same disclaimer to mine even though we are aiming for 50 people indoors only.

    Also August 21, 2021.
We sent save the dates before the second lockdown happened (to our 100 guests) but afraid that not all 100 will be able to attend. Will wait to send the invites out.

We were June 20, 2020 originally and postponed to August 21, 2021. We verbally told people we were moving our date. And I had bought some really cute new Save the Dates but we decided in the end not to send them. With not knowing how many guests we'll be able to have we decided to just wait and do invitations. We'll do those 6-8 weeks out. Our families and close friends know the new date. REALLY hoping for 100 outdoors.

We're Sept 5 and we're not sending Save the Dates. In addition to the uncertainty surrounding guest numbers, no one from outside your local area should be attending anyway so a Save the Date doesn't seem necessary. Since everyone is local, no one attending should be making travel and accommodation arrangements.

    Hi Claudia!

We're sending out our save the dates this week to our '100 list' and we have a little disclaimer at the bottom saying We really hope that we can celebrate with everyone. Please stay tuned for further correspondence that we're hoping everyone will view as a "wait until you get an actual wedding invite to see if we can have you or not"

I'm hoping we can have everyone, but who knows with everything changing so quickly. Maybe we'll get lucky and be allowed more than 100? Hahah wishful thinking

We are August 14, 2021! We decided not to send Save the Dates. Because the guestlist count is such a mystery right now, we figured we would just wait until May and send invitations only. We used word of mouth to let people know the month we're planning for, so they have a heads up. But we really don't want to go through a situation where we have to un-invite people after being too optimistic with our Save the Dates. We will model our invitations and guestlist around whatever covid restrictions look like in May (we live in a small town in Northern Ontario so hoping for an allowance of 100 outdoors like last summer!!).
