Couples getting married on 7/november/2020 in Ontario

It’s looking like we’re going to postpone. I’m so disappointed 😔

Hey all. Our wedding is November 6. We can’t do much right now until the venue gives us the option to postpone. I was speaking to my coordinator yesterday and she said November weddings are not likely to happen either if things do not look up SOON. We will likely postpone to next year spring or November again

How are you guys doing? Postponing or waiting it out?


We have a back up date for November 6th, 2021 and at this point I just want to postpone. Our plan is to wait it out another month or two just to see how things go.

View quoted message I think that’s a smart decision. I really want to just postpone because I’m tired of planning a wedding that’s likely not going to happen but my fiancé and I have decided to wait until the end of July/beginning of August to decide.

My Fiance and I have come to the conclusion to postpone This is an exhausting process but we feel that this is the right decision for us as we have many guests flying in from Europe, many elderly guests and also a min. 200 guest count that we are not sure will be allowed by then and even if it is we don't want our guests to feel uncomfortable. It's so hard to make such big decisions when it is still 5 months away but we do feel we made the right one for us.

I have vendors waiting for deposits and i'm scared to send them as the timeline is soo unknown right now, but on the other hand if this all settles before November EVERYONE (+ weddings that have been pushed back to the winter months) will be trying to book vendors and we could loose them : (

With the pandemic going on I am so grateful to have chosen a fall/winter wedding!
