Couples getting married on 31/august/2019 in Ontario

I am from Richmond Hill and the FH is from Markham! We are getting married on the same date, but at a golf course. We were aiming to wed in the GTA for distance purposes and I fell in love with the venue before we even entered! It will be an eleven course meal due to catering.

We got engaged on April 15, 2018 on top of the mountains in Switzerland! I was not expecting it, though my parents knew since he had asked them for my hand prior to the vacation. By the time we marry, it would have been just over three years since we started dating.

I met him from a social event and at that time, I was not looking for a relationship after getting out of one a few months prior. We started out as friends and have our own group of mutual friends. Let's just say the maid of honour is our biggest fangirl and one of his groomsmen is the biggest fanboy! The two of them were rooting for us after months of indirect chasing

We are planning to get married fall 2019 as well! I'm from Northern Ontario (1 hour past Timmins) and my man is from Welland Ontario. We are funding the wedding ourselves so we are trying to figure out if its cheaper to get a venue and caterer and all that jazz or go with a venue thats "all inclusive". Any ideas ladies?

Congratulations, Jessica! It's fine that that's all you've booked because you've given yourself lots of good time to plan. Does your venue have its own caterer or are you going to need to book one of those as well? How did you meet your FH?
