Hi Ladies!


When I first joined Wedding Wire there were only 2 other couples getting married on May 26 2018 in New Brunswick, now there are lots of us!!! Congratulations!!!

Where is everyone from?

What vendors are you using?

What are your colours?

How's the planning?


My finace and I are currently living in Fredericton but will be getting married up river. We are still working out a lot of details because we had to take a few months off from planning. Unfortunately, his father passed away after we got engaged, that caused a lot of heartache and lead to other family issues (especially with the Will). We only have 2 vendors so far (I know I'm sooo behind) the reception will be at the Woodstock Golf and Curling Club and our photographer is Elizabeth Flynn-Mason Photography! Our wedding colours are Lavender and Sky Blue!

    How is your planning going? When are you sending out invitations? I am unsure when is a good timeline.

    We don't have a caterer yet..... this has been causing some issues between my finace and I. His top two most important things were the ceremony and the food.... mine were dress and photography. He picked BBQ buffet (hamburgers and hotdogs) for our reception. I am worried about the logistics of BBQing all that food so we don't agree on catering.


    As for my dress.... it's beautiful! I bought it at a nation wide traveling sale for $899. It's an Ivory Lace Fit and Flare with straps and a beautiful train! It is currently at my mother's house and everytime I go visit I take it out of the bag and day dream!

    Sounds like you were at the head of the planning game, Bethany! Don't worry about taking some time off, family comes first and you still have lots of time to get everything done. You have two of the biggest vendors booked already, I wouldn't be too worried. Do you have a caterer? A dress?
