Couples getting married on 25/August/2018 in Ontario

My Wedding was Aug 25th 2018 it was great and my Guests had a really good time. I would like to do it over again if i could.

It was amazing, but thank goodness it's over 😆

Congrats to all for the upcoming weddings this coming weekend. My husband and i will be celebrating our 1st year the same day. Its amazing how many couples get married on the same day at their venues and start to feel newlyweds after. For those who have been and living together for years as we did, it will feel just as the same at home every day.

Since were all getting married on the same date, do you guys feel a little overwhelmed about planning? Although I've had over a year of planning already, I still feel very unprepared (despite being well over half way done the checklist).

We are also getting married on this date! I know this was posted a few months ago, but I'd love to know where you're at with planning. I keep feeling like I'm in a good position, but then I also feel like I have SO much to do!

Congrats! I have so far only booked my church, I have looked at some dresses but wanna shed some pounds so really tried on just a couple to get ideas.

I definitely agree though, I like the slow pace so that a couple of months before the wedding it's just confirming everything is in place.

I'm currently researching different venues, prices etc. it's a little overwhelming but I think it's the hardest part so once it's done it's done!

Hello! August 25th 2018 is my date too. Im in Calgary, AB though. I have my venue, my dress, and a band set for my wedding already. I think it is nice to be able to slowly plan things so your not so stressed when the date gets closer. It gives you a chance to explore all your options and get everything the way you want it! Hope this helps just know your not alone in early planning

I think if you can, start planning early, take it from someone who started planning super late.

You can start looking at and booking venues. Some venues allow bookings as far out as 2 years so it won't be weird.

Either way, enjoy the process!
