Couples getting married on 24/october/2020 in Ontario

Well fellow Oct 24 brides. We have pulled the switch down and rescheduled our date. The stress of being front line workers has had it's toll and we just don't want our anniversary year to be the year of covid. Personal choice. I hope by then it is under control/over and you all have a lovely day!!

Our wedding isn't exactly minimal but we are trying to be cost effective as much as possible. We're buying our invites from a company called Stephita, putting our deposit soon and sending the overseas ones in June or July, the local ones in July. Takes a few months for printing and everything, if you're going more simple for the invites you can probably wait another month or so but I'd say you're safe to start looking up designs and companies 😁

I feel like I am the only one who thinks this date is taking forever to get here! Anyone doing a very minimal wedding? I'm not big on flowers/decorating ect I think it's alot for one day. Where do you plan on getting your invitations from and how long in advance do you plan on buying them?

We actually were hoping for the 17th because it's the middle weekend of the month, but the venue we loved wasn't available in both the ceremony gardens and the hall, so we opted for the 24th. I have always loved the fall season, so the only thing I ever knew I wanted for a wedding was to be married in the fall with all the colours changing. Halloween wasn't really a favourite as an idea, and the other weekends would either be Thanksgiving or earlier than we hoped. So thev24th was an easy choice and quickly became our perfect date ❤
