I'm so glad I connected with you through this site! Our date is Friday, August 17th! To be honest, I haven't done much planning and am way behind! We chose a Friday as it was a bit cheaper for rental fees. Isn't that cool how you also chose Tent City..LOl! I was going to chose the Tekarra room with the "after party" at Tent City, but it made most sense to just have one reception room rather than having to move people between two rooms! I hope it all works out!

Our date is September 1st. my grandfathers birthday. we are having a small wedding as well (40 - 50 - hopefully). We chose the beauvert plateau and tent city!

When is your wedding date? Are you having a lot of people? I am having a small wedding (40-50 people) and am getting married on the sundeck with my reception and after party at Tent City!!!

You and I will be getting married at the same venue! LOL I also will be having my ceremony, reception all in one! I originally had my wedding date set for Sept. 29, 2018 at Becker's Chalets in Jasper but decided to change to JPL as they still had availability in August! I love the thought of a "one stop shop"!

my wedding is in Jasper this September and we decided on plum and grey!

Hi Bridget! I love talking about color pallets! For August I love deep reds, bright pinks, yellows and golds, and purples. The flowers which are in season at that time of year come in those colors which makes choosing those flowers more affordable. But even more than matching the season, I like choosing a wedding color pallet that looks good in your venue(s). You don't need to match your venue, but you don't want to clash (I wanted a kelly green wedding, but my ceremony venue had olive green and it would NOT have been a pretty combo!)
