So I see my fiance and I weren't the only ones amused by the 10/10/2020 date...hey everyone! We're from Nanaimo and both thankful for and impatient with the extended saving/planning time 😂

    Really well so far. I've got my venue booked for reception and ceremony, I've got my wedding dress ordered, wine ordered, menue is in the works. And decorations are in the works.


    Only thing I'm waiting on now is premarital counseling and my bridal shower.

    I moved my church wedding and reception to next year but having a small ceremony this year. How are your plans going?

    Totally thought the 10-10-2020 was funny but we only picked the date on a fluke. Didnt even realize that it funny until after we sent out invites.


    Congratulations to everyone though! Anyone else nervous about another shut down?

    Just got engaged on June 1st, and I’m so into dates. I was originally thinking 08-08-2020 but that’s prime season, so hoping for 10-10-2020. It’ll be just over ten years together as a couple by that time.

    I totally know the feeling... im like we have been together for 8 years already. whats another 2 more. Plus then on 10/10/2020 we would have been together for 10 years... so im all about the fun number and the savings lol
