Hello to all the people getting married on Canada Day 2018! Just wondered where you are in your planning. I still have a few things left such as hair and make-up, stationary, officiant and few other things but hope to get those done early in the new year.

    Yes, actually my fiance and I started dating after we were partners in our friends wedding on July 1st many, many years ago. We reconnected about 5 years ago and so I thought that would make a nice date. Also, I'm a teacher so it's the beginning of my summer break. Since I was off for the summer I tried to get as much done as possible because during the school year I'm quite busy.

    Are you getting married on July 1st as well?

    Hey Randa! Does Canada Day hold special meaning for you, or did the date just work out for you? It sounds like you are pretty far ahead of the planning game, that's awesome! How have you managed to accomplish so much?
