Country brides - hey y'all

That's me. getting Married in the field we went on our first date, and the ceremony will be at the hall in the town he grew up nearest. Can't wait. Debating involving my horse, as I already own a sidesaddle.

Hey Amanda! Wow! It's a great idea to try different styles of dresses. I'm sure the other one was gorgeous too, but this one is absolutely stunning!! With or without the belt, your dress look s gorgeous! You should have someone take pictures of your bridesmaids reaction when they see you in the dress! What activity are you planning together before the wedding? Do they all know each other?

Emilie - thank you so much! It's funny because I thought I had "the one" before and it was short. But I decided that I needed to try on other dresses also...so I went to another shop and it was like night/day. The saleswoman was older and REALLY into it - kept just grabbing dresses for me to try....some not even close to what I wanted. It was all to "trick" me into putting on one in every style, and then she brought out this. Knew instantly!

My maid of honor was with me - she actually was the one who went dress shopping with me BOTH times. Then I came back MOH again and my Mom. THEN, the weekend of my engagement party I went in with one of my bridesmaids....

The rest of the girls have yet to see it but I am trying to schedule something for next week. I had planned for yesterday but injured myself (I AM OKAY) and was unable to make the appointment. Already put a payment down, but it's going to take me a while to pay until half (which is when it's ordered officially)...and then I have another 6 months to save for the final half (on delivery).

Just have to look at belts and decide if bling is what I really want....I think it looks good, but I am so simple and feel like even though I "should" have the bling...I don't HAVE to. Lots of time to decide though.

Alright ladies! I was a bit hesitant to post my dress here, but I think it's safe to say my FH won't be on here looking so I'm just going to do it.
Exactly what I pictured, and once I tried it on all the other dresses just did not look right. Hahahaha. I'm not one for tears so that's how I knew it was the one.
FYI - there is no front/back photo because the dress was two sizes too big so I had to stuff a pillow in the back (or front) to imitate a proper fit. The bunching in the middle won't be an issue when it's the correct size!!

Hey Amanda! I personally really like the instant picture shoots (polaroids) because everyone can leave with their picture in hand And you could also do a cool guestbook like this!

They can be more expensive though... Because of the printing. I think both are great options!

Also, I can't wait to see your dress!! How does it look like? What did you choose?

Emilie - LOVE those cupcakes, but I am going for a cake! May have some gluten free / dairy free cupcakes on the side for those living the GF life. Technically I am, but I CERTAINLY am going all out with treats on my wedding day. Hahahaha.

Love the wanted frame, I actually have something similar to that on my list for the photo booth. Just deciding if I want to set up my own camera for the booth, or rent one that has the photos print immediately? Hmmm...thoughts?

But spoiler alert - I went into another bridal shop for fun to try on dresses....and ACTUALLY found the one. A LOT different than the one I showed you, but so much more ME.

Hey Amanda! This thread is such a good idea! You should share pictures of your theme! I'm sure other brides will get excited to see them and maybe want to integrate some ideas in their wedding too!
