Confetti toss.. yay or nay?

Ariel, on July 5, 2019 at 16:30 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 11
Is a confetti toss fun and worth it for photos? fun for guests? who has done this and did it work well?
If yes, what works best for confetti?
Thanks for any help!

It looks great! Maybe ribbon wands if you want a lesser cleanup time or if your venue doesn't allow confetti. Ours doesn't, but they do allow real flower petals as long as someone is cleaning it up afterwards. We are thinking to have real yellow petals for the toss Smiley smile

Definitely check with your venue, I think it would be awesome! We're buying different shape punchers to make our own eco confetti from colourful leaves since it's a fall wedding. You can also buy premade eco confetti or just keep all the flowers and petals you receive. Then it's like making your own potpourri and giving that out for them to toss. But for sure check with your venue first

The idea sounds great though and to go forward with. However, some venues don't allow any particular details in their building or on property. This may include confetti, rose petals, or any small.
Its better to inquire or read your contract to see the finer details to ensure your ok to go ahead with your choice.

I love the idea of this but I would check with your venue first... some places put in the contract that if you do confetti or rice there is a cleaning fee for it afterwards. Maybe bubbles? same cute photo op with no extra charge.

Alot of venues will ding you HARD for stuff like that. My aunt did bubbles and I have seen some do sparklers. When my sister was planning her wedding they wanted to ding her good just for having a flower girl drop petals so she decided not to have a flower girl.

Absolutely adorable. We are doing bubbles which apparently doesn't show up in photos but my photographer says she will just edit them in.

I think it's worth a shot! My venue only allows bird seed - but I may be able to get them to allow confetti made out of leaves like Amelia said.

It looks really great in pictures. Just have to check with your venue for clean up. If they are ok with it then go for it!

I really like the idea too and think it would be adorable for photos! I think we're going to make confetti out of leaves so there's no cleanup necessary. Definitely check with your venue though.

I think it’s super cute and if your venue allows it, I say go for it!
