Hi everyone!
We are doing a combined dance with my father and his mother, just so everyone feels more comfortable.
We didn't want anything slow and sappy so His mother suggested the song "The way you look tonight" by Frank Senatra. What does everyone think?

    The idea is nice and easy for all four of you to dance to. Its a classic and something you don't hear often.

    We did the same and had my mom dance with me and my husband danced with his aunt to the song A Mother's Song by Jim Brickman. Beautiful with a meaningful words.

    I think if you like it then go for it, you'll see all kinds of posts saying how hard it is to find a song for the mother/son dance and since your FMIL suggested it, you'll know she likes it!!

    For me I would say that for some reason in my head I can picture me and my Dad swaying to it - but not a Mother and Son... It's like a reasonable tempo for me and my Dad but I can't see my FH and his Mom moving that fast to the song.

    As long as you guys like it and can practice your swaying/dancing then I say it's a fine song Smiley smile
