Hi friends,
Me and my fiance are opting out of a traditional meal and having a cocktail reception taking place late (after dinner time). I know it's a different type of style, but it works for us, and this is what we're doing. We've put together a tentative menu, and I'd like to know what you all think. If you have any suggestions or things you'd change if it were you, please let me know and leave your comments!
Savoury:
Spring rolls (veggie)
Sandwich Platters (meat and vegetarian)
Cheese and Cracker Platters
Chicken wings
Meatballs
Vegetable Platters
Desserts/Sweet Items:
Wedding cake
Fruit Platters
Cheese cakes
Cannolis
Cupcakes
Alcohol/Drinks
Beer Keg
Sparkling wine on each table
2 special mixed drinks (Rum and coke, Gin and Orange Juice.
And of course, we'd have a few selections of sodas, and have water as well.
What do you all think about this menu? Is it too light? Not enough selections? Anything should be added or omitted?
