I would like for guests to be able to have plus ones at our cocktail style reception. However, to keep costs low and have the day remain intimate, I would prefer to have them come later into the night once the reception program has concluded. So really they would only be there for dancing and drinks.
Would this be a good idea? Most of our guests live in the same city as the venue and anyone travelling in would be able to bring the plus one for the whole duration.
If it’s a good idea, how would you go about wording it in the invitation?
