Classing up your favourite foods for the wedding meal

Joey, on October 26, 2017 at 08:06 Posted in Wedding reception 0 5

Can you tell yet that I'm one of those people who is always hungry? I've been seeing -and loving - a recent trend of bringing non-traditional foods into the wedding world. Food trucks, non-cake desserts, comfort foods, and exciting fusion cuisines are all being served at wedding meals these days. How are you bringing your favorite foods into your wedding? Are you working with your caterer on anything special? Will any special presentation style be used to make the food more wedding friendly?

Will you take a twist on a casual classic? Classing up your favourite foods for the wedding meal 1

We did a late night lunch with a pizza station and a poutine bar! My husband loves pizza and I live poutine! We also had a huge dessert bar because my family and I love our sweets !!

We love caprese salad (tomato, bocconcini cheese and basil with balsamic vinegar) so we asked our caterer how to make it into an appetizer. He gave us salad on a skewer which was super neat and easy to eat.

For our late night bar it was Oktoberfest themed which was mini pogos, onion rings and soft pretzels with a cheesey beer fondue. It was served buffet style.
