Church decor

I love all the ideas ! definatly love the lighting !

The first and third pics are the ones I like most! I absolutely love churches for their beauty and of you getting married in a church with a similar look to that in the photos then I say let that speak for itself. Having a focal point when you walk in is lovely and the guests can enjoy the view of the bride and groom and the church!

We are having our meeting with the pastors this Saturday so I am sure they will let us know what is allowed and not allowed! Hopefully flower pedals...we have 2 flower girls and we have fake flower pedals for them!

Did the church give you a list of things that are not allowed? Ours doesn't allow candles besides ceremonial ones, no loose flower petals, rice, or confetti... I love the kissing balls, and wish we could do lanterns and petals... Although we could probably do battery candles... hmmmm now u have got me thinking. .. lol

I've only ever seen things hanging on the ends of the pews that match the wedding colours or decor myself, like bows made with fabric and tulle in back of them. Sometimes there are restrictions. I love the second photo though with the flowers and tulle, but it made me wonder about people getting in b and out of the pews.... I also the the flowers at the front in the first photo

I to love the candles but agree that it might not fit a summer day!! My dress definitely has a long train!

I really like the candles down the aisle, but that might not fit a warm mid summer summer day! You don't want to make it too warm in there.

The petals are pretty for summer, and the ribbons on the benches add colour without taking away walking space (does your dress have a long train that might get caught? I don't remembe...? but keep that in mind!)

The big flower arrangements are nice too, and I have heard that a lot of brides re-use those as reception decor too....always nice to have more than one use for something!
