I am going with strapless so whatever back that is lol

I bought mine in June 2016 and am gettign married sept 2017 its never to early in my opinion!

Mine is deep v ish

I bought my dress at the first shop I went to, because it was the right dress. I had another appointment booked for the next day that I cancelled. I was surprised that I found the dress the in the first shop but I can't imagine liking another dress more! Also mine is a special order (because I am 6'2 so they have to add more length for me) so it will take longer. I ordered end of October for my wedding in September and they are pretty sure my dress will be in by June. They also told me that the dress can be altered down 2-3 dress sizes so I ordered the size I am now and I am okay if I lose some weight before the wedding

If i could of had it I would go 1 and go backless .. i love them

No problem! That's why we're here! You need to make an appointment so that they have a consultant available to help you. Weekend appointments typically fill up fast so once you find a shop you like, you should reach out to see their availability. Appointments generally last an hour but some let you stay longer. If you have a particular designer in mind, you could see which shops carry them nearby or you could just search nearby shops and check out their reviews and price range. It's a good idea to bring a couple pictures of dresses you like to your appointment so they know what direction you want to go in. Don't judge a dress based on how it looks on the hanger because it can look completely different on you! The consultants have a lot of experience and know the dresses well so trust them to help you!

It generally takes about 6-8 months to order your dress so that's usually how far in advance you need to shop. They do the alterations a couple weeks before the wedding so that your body is close to what it will be for the wedding. I think you can start looking now if you want! You might need to check out a few shops before you find the right one or it could be the first dress you try on so you never know! For me, I know that my taste and style doesn't really change so I was confident that I wouldn't change my mind if I went shopping "early." It can also take a while to get everyone you want to go with you together so I'm more a fan of sooner rather than later! Are you thinking about going sometime soon?
