Cheap honeymoon ideas

We're really lucky... We have some (wealthy) friends who own a condo in the South of France! They're letting us stay there for free, so pretty much all we will need to cover is airfare and food. This will still be pricey in France, but this way we can afford a dream vacay we wouldn't be able to otherwise!

We are driving to Ontario instead of flying! In the long run it is cheaper for us as we have to transport some things back to Alberta. Not sure our exact plans yet but hoping to have some fun on our way to our second reception lol

I agree with all of the advice so far. I would also say that not packing too much and knowing what kind of vacation you want will go a long way as well.

We just used apps to watch flight prices. When it went low enough, we booked!

Travel during what is the low season at the destination you want to go.

Book flights that leave on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

Book flights at least 2 weeks before actual travel date.

Last minute vacation deal websites have some pretty good deals.
