Ceremony Time

Amanda, on February 8, 2018 at 17:25 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 4
Hi all! I’m getting married in Kelowna in October! Just wondering the recommend ceremony time!? I don’t want it to be too cold. But I also want to catch the sunset in some photos during the cocktail hour! I’m thinking 3:30? Thoughts? Thank you!

Ask your photographer! They've likely dealt with this Q before.

I would check what time sunset normally is on your date and work backwards from there. You want some photos before the sunset and during so give yourself enough time.

Congratulations! I'd backtrack to figure out when the ceremony will start using the times you do know. Check what time sunset will be, start your cocktail hour around an hour before that so you have enough time for pics. Then your ceremony will need to end at that time, so figure out how long that will be and you've got your ceremony start time!
