Ceremony Sites

Hi!

I heard you can get married in the park next to the Canal Lachine. There's a gazebo in case it rains. I think you have to contact someone from the city of Montreal, or Lachine.

I don’t know if they still do this but a cousin got married at the botanical gardens on pie IX in the Japanese gardens. I didn’t go because I was still too young but I heard it was really beautiful.
I also went to a wedding on a golf course, they had the ceremony outside (it wasn’t religious, someone that we knew did it) and the reception was inside. They did a good job on decorating the tent for the ceremony too.

Or if you already have the person that’s marrying you, you can ask them where they’ve done other weddings to get an idea

Hi Shannon, if you already have a reception site, why not have the ceremony there as well? My daughter did this. The hall was initially set up for the ceremony. Then the staff moved all the chairs and tables for the reception. It worked out perfectly.

You can filter it down even further to venue types, like hotels, restaurants, and halls, which will help you find non-religiously affiliated locations.
