Ceremony music, help?!

Hayley, on April 16, 2018 at 17:50 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 3
Hi ladies,

I need some ceremony music ideas for our outdoor, non-religious wedding! I have gotten started and for when guests are being seated we will have some of our favorite “Love” songs, mostly country. Then the entourage will enter to canon in D, bride will enter to a thousand years instrumental, but I have no idea what to play for signing of the registry or for the recessional. Any ideas?!

We didn't have any music while we signed the papers. Our recessional song was Say Hey (I Love you) by Michael Franti and Spearhead. Very upbeat fun song!

Personally, I'm big into pieces like Spring by Vivaldi & Jupiter by Gustav Holst...

Something instrumental would probably be better. Perhaps an instrumental version of one of your guys' favourite songs? If you're anything like me, you're having a hard time narrowing down your favourites, so you shouldn't have a problem picking an extra song or two for the signing and recessional.

Definitely something more upbeat for the recessional. You're celebrating now! Personally, I find the lyrics a little distracting, so all I would suggest is instrumental for sure.
