Ceremony music

Okay I'd like to thank you all for your help. I listened to the songs over and over again and I asked around in my famity and friends and everyone was like "go traditional no one will remember the ceremony music anyway." I was like "we'll that'd discouraging..." Anyway I think we've decided on the following:
Prelude: Ave Verum Corpus - Mozart
Processional: (bridesmaids) Canon in D - Pachelbel and (me) Bridal March - Wagner
Interlude (Signing): All I ask of You - Andrew Lloyd Webber, with my sister (MoH) doing vocals
Recessional: The Wedding March - Mendelssohn

The Trumpet Voluntary is very joyful. It sounds like royalty is being announced but I'm not sure if it would sound as good on violin. Ask the musician to play it for you.

What songs? And why do you find them depressing?

Do you have any song restrictions based on your ceremony venue? If not then pick whatever you want, and whatever makes you happy!!
