We have our pre-ceremony/arrival, processional and recessional songs picked out, but we are having a hard time figuring it out what to play during the signing of the documents. This is always such a boring time for those not involved, so we want it to be something people will know to keep them entertained, but still wedding appropriate. Any suggestions out there? Bonus points if it's an oldie (all other songs we are using are either from the 50's-70's or covers of songs from those decades).

    We are doing Jailhouse rock by Elvis. We wanted to make it a faster tempo because it really is a boring time.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone!! There are some good oldies in the bunch! We originally had Signed, Sealed, Delivered in our pre ceremony music so I didn't even consider it...but I think it does suit the signing of the documents better!!

    We love oldies too! Our signing song is More Today Than Yesterday -late 60s. Maybe it'll work for you guys too! Smiley smile

    I'm considering playing "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" - Stevie Wonder during the signing portion of the ceremony. You're absolutely right it is longer than most people think and definitely the more boring part for guests, but I think this song would lighten the mood!
    *Plus its an oldie!!*

    We are doing the song from the hobbit and Harry Potter for this part of our ceremony. We thought it would liven everyone up a bit but they are both instrumental only so it will go along smoothly Smiley smile

    We had an acoustic guitarist who played "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" during our signing and it seemed to fit well Smiley smile
