They are awful. I wish they were just Geese, not "Canadian Geese" going everywhere getting to use our passport and sully the good Canadian name.

Yes! Burlington and Oakville have signs everywhere! I would never feed them because I think Canada Geese are the biggest snobs ever! Lol

Seriously? I didn't know you couldn't feed them! I never would, because they are jerks and scare the heck out of me...but still good to know!

The ones at High Park are vicious- even my dog is scared of those bullies.

If it's a public park be aware that Canada Geese are a protected species and you cant feed them! You could get fined if so.

if you want to get fancy you could give them little "flowergirl" baskets with the crumbs....or I might be getting carried away

This a beautiful venue Cheryl. I don't know how to advise on the ducks and geese but perhaps speaking to the owner on what they do to keep them at bay.

Might be a good task for any kids who might not be interested in the ceremony (some kids just don't have the desire!)

Do you know some responsible kids or have friends who could feed the birds at the opposite side of the lake while your ceremony is taking place... Pretty sure that unless they are already being fed that a group of people will attract them.

How beautiful!!! I don't know that there is anyway to control the ducks and geese though. People might attract them if they are used to being fed...I am certain it will be lovely whether you have feathered wedding crashers or not!

I can see why this is one of your favourite places....but I have no idea how to keep ducks and geese away. Maybe people being around will be enough to deter them?
