Ceremony Decor

Amanda, on December 9, 2021 at 13:53 Posted in Wedding ceremony 1 16

Hi Everyone! What's your plan for ceremony décor?

Are you keeping things simple and saving it for the reception? Decorating with candles, floral arrangements, or aisle runners? Let's share what everyone has in mind for their big day! Smiley heart

My fiance and I are keeping things very simple since our ceremony location is absolutely breathe taking as it is and our venue has a tone of giant flower arrangements already at the head of the ceremony arch!

We'll be adding a unplugged ceremony sign to let our guests know that we don't want them to be taking pictures with their phones or camera's during this time and let our photographer handle all the photos. The sign will be sitting up against a wine barel at the entrance of the aisle.

We are using an aisle runner (indoor ceremony and reception), plus a fabric swag down the chair rows. We are also looking for a backdrop for the ceremony (not an archway). Also a sign similar to the one Amanda is using.

For the ceremony, we only added a floral centerpiece to the arch, added faux flower pew ends to the aisle seats, and had a sign welcoming our guests. We purposely found a space that we didn't have to do much for.

I just bought an arch today for our ceremony. It is pretty basic. It has flowers and some tulle, some lights (though some don't work so I may not bother to plug it in. It was just something to mark a space really. I may add some of my own flowers to it to make it look more like it belongs to our wedding. I spent more money on the music for the ceremony. I don't remember what decorations people had at their ceremonies but I DO remember the feelings I had when I went to a wedding with string instruments playing. It was magic and I loved it.

Our ceremony wasn't set up with any extra from what was set from the venue itself. Huge planters arrangements along the railing towards the lake view was beautiful. The only set up done was the reception tables with square vase with coloured waterbeads and LED lights inside and white floral ball on the top for each table. the inspiration of colours were the pride flag to have the vibrancy itself.

Thank you! We're both beyond excited for our day!

That sounds beautiful that your ceremony is at a top of a hill Smiley love

Try adding photos from a computer, if you're trying to add them from the app, the app hasn't been working the greatest lately

Wow it is definitely going to be a beautiful wedding!! 😍
We are using a decor rental company ( our venue is 10 hours away so we don’t want to haul decor and a toddler haha)
I am going simple on the ceremony as well! We will also have a arch with floral swag , not sure about adding fabric though , our venue is at the top of a hill and I think it might blow around anyway

Our actual venue but I will have a square arch

Our venue had so much beauty and character already we didn't want to add too much. Here is our chuppah and we had clusters of candles down the aisle as well that were later moved to the fireplace.

Our ceremony will be fairly basic. We will have an arch with some drapery and hopefully some flowers as well. Then our welcome sign will be a large frame! Below is one of my inspo pics for the sign!Ceremony Decor 8
