Centerpieces: Floral or Non-Floral?

We had some potted chrysanthemums and beer and wine bottles with lights in them as our centerpieces.

For sure! I got them off of Amazon. Here's the link. They were $12.99(CAD) each, but it was the most expensive part of our centrepieces, and worth every penny. I love them!

View quoted message I haven’t decided yet but our venue has offered to allow the guests to cut their own slices, which can save additional money on cake cutting/serving or they can cut the cakes for each person. If the guests cut their own cake, they can have a slice whenever they’d like instead of waiting to be served

We are doing floral centrepieces. Mostly because they are the most convenient.

For our centrepieces, our Baker is going to make small wedding cakes that will be placed in the middle of each table. We are doing this instead of having one large cake and the individual cakes are going to be the dessert portion of the meal. The cost for the smaller cakes was the same plus it saves me money on centrepiece decorations and paying for a dessert at the venue

I had floral ball with a vase for tables as non floral for head table. I did both different ways.

We are doing something like this but with some small flower heads in the ivy and tea lights in the lanterns

Something useful i found is that if you cut all the bottoms off the wine bottles it is much easier to fill them with lights. I bought a glass etcher off etsy and it works pretty well!
It is possible to feed the lights in the top of the bottle but i found they bunch up and its hard to evenly distribute them.

My centrepieces are not florals. My theme is travel so I found these cool globes that light up, they will be sitting on a flower pot painted black. With pictures of my fiance and I in that location sitting around them. We also have a vase with some beads inside to hold up the table numbers. Simple, but more reflective of us. This was my "pinspiration" !

Maegan and I are on the same page with the bottles. Our centrepieces will be three wine bottles - one blue, one clear and one painted gold. They will have a combination of fairy lights and hydrangeas. I haven't found a similar picture that shows all of this so it's currently in my head but I'm working on emptying those wine bottles

Non floral for us... I love the look of floral centerpieces but im too cheap to pay for the flowers.
