Centerpiece help!

Machaila, on December 5, 2018 at 10:33 Posted in Wedding reception 0 11
I swear I’m having the hardest time with the centerpieces! I’m not reaaaaalllly into flowers with the centrepiece. Candles are not allowed and I find it really hard to fine nice flameless candles. My theme is rustic and my colours are pale blue, and any neutral colours. I instered a photo of the reception site from their website! HELP!

Thank you everyone! I think we are going to make wood lanterns similar to the ones above!! I’m going to try micheals for flameless candles but if not I’ll do something with a mason jar. Maybe with some greenery around it!

We got lanterns from Ikea and we will be putting them on a wood round. Very simple but I didn't want flowers or to distract from the venue. Also for flameless candles I would definitely check Michael's

Fairy lights are really pretty and I seriously considered using them for my centrepieces but ultimately went with something else!

You could do something like this? I personally love the twinkly lights inside the vases. They just have such a beautiful look to them!

My sister did apples in some kind of vase. She bought the cheap apples that orchards sell for feed, polished them up and put them in some dollar store vases. They looked gorgeous and were cheap and simple to put together. Her FIL made them unsupervised 😄

Did a quick search - some of these might inspire you. You can change the individual items out for others (IE: Candle vase for a vase filled with water and river rocks?). Also, check with your venue - you might not be able to light candles, but you might be able to have them unlit.

    What a beautiful venue!!

i'm not into the florals either. but with the rustic theme I would do a mason jar (or wine bottles) with some babies breaths.

you could also go lanterns/wine bottles/mason jars with fairy lights in them.

    like these lights.

Beautiful Venue! I completely agree with you on the flower part. I am not really a flowery person.

For my centerpieces I am looking to do little lanterns with lights in them, and then my venue has birch tree pieces that have table numbers on them. I am looking to keep them smaller and not take up so much space. But those are 2 ideas that you could look into Smiley smile
