Can't find a venue to hold small reception

Hello!

I've recently started planning for my wedding next June. We are almost certain we've locked down our ceremony venue. Now we are looking for a small venue willing to accommodate 70 or less guests for our reception. Everywhere we look is either too expensive or the minimum amount of guests is too high. Not looking for ugly yellow walls either, lol. Please can anyone think of anywhere? Looking in Oshawa, Ontario.

    Think out of the box - Try contacting Oshawa area art galleries, or museums.

    Also consider having it in a park, and renting a tent.

    Maybe try reaching out to some restaurants? You might be able to book a larger section of a restaurant to accommodate! I know some places even have dance floors that open up later (places like the Bier Markt) Just an idea!

    Not sure if these have a minimum count or are in your price range - but there are only 14 venues for Oshawa when I look here on Wedding Wire? You could just shoot them all a price request and ask them - Wedding Venues Oshawa ON
