Hey, I’m looking for some help on some good places to hold just the wedding reception in canmore, preferably places with a private room / restaurant with a private room, we would like a space for a dance floor as well. We are going to have roughly 30-40 people.

Just seeing this thread now — how was the Fenlands? My fiance and I are considering that venue for June 2026.

We are getting married in Banff next summer and decided to host our reception at The Fenlands. I know it's not right in Canmore (which may not work for you) but it was one of the best options I found when looking! Depending on your budget, hosting it at a restaurant can get really expensive. We inquired with The Iron goat and decided it was too much because they have a minimum you have to spend on food and drinks. But there are lots of great options!
