Can i serve duty-free alcohol at my wedding in Alberta?

For anyone who has had to purchase their liquor for their wedding.


My event allows me to bring in outside alcohol, as long as it is purchased in Alberta. My question is, if I buy alcohol from the duty-free shop (at the board, on the Alberta side), can I serve it at my wedding?

    I agree with Amanda, since its your venue with the rule, they can confirm that best. But my guess would be that is fine, as like you said, its bought in Alberta.

    It might be best if you ask your venue about this. They would know the best answer.

    But like you said you're purchasing on the Alberta side, there shouldn't be an issue.
