I'm starting to look into doing up my playlist for our DJ. and theres an option for cake cutting song. Do people do that? or do they just do some soft music?

    I didn't know cake cutting songs were a thing until I noticed it on my playlist for my dj as well. I chose "Sugar" by Maroon 5. I was between the one I picked, "Pour Some Sugar on me" by Def Leppard or "Cake by the Ocean" by DNCE! My dj had a list of choices people generally pick for doing that sort of thing so I had an idea of what to go with!

    I had no idea this was even a thing. We aren't having a cake, just donuts so I guess we don't have to worry about it anyways, haha!

    I didn't know cake cutting songs were a thing until a few months ago lol we are still debating if we are doing a cake, but my friend just recently showed me a song called Cake by Flo Rida and I'm borderline considering using it as a cake cutting song haha the chorus says "I only came for the cake" which is so me 😂
