Buck and doe question?

Jamie, on February 3, 2025 at 11:36 Posted in Before the wedding 0 1
We are planning on having a buck and doe. But I was wondering the banquet hall we chose to do it at has a fully stocked bar, how does this work when it comes to making money off the drinks? Do we do drink tickets?

If the banquet hall has an open bar, you can either sell a drink ticket, or sell an open-bar ticket to the event, ie: $30 per person.

Check with your venue on permits though. I think the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has some information on that. If a permit is needed, it would be one for a private event, and I believe they ask you if you will be selling alcohol. The person who is marked down as being the responsible person should not consume any alcohol.
