Buck and Doe planning help!

Maegan, on March 11, 2019 at 13:42 Posted in Before the wedding 0 5
Hey ladies!
So I've been loving the wedding planning and have been super calm and cool about that part but planning our buck and doe for next Feb has me super stressed out. We decided on the best date and have a few different venues info and pricing. I think I'm just a bit out of my comfort zone here.
Ladies that had one, how'd you go about planning it? We're doing a dance/social one only so no games- we might do a small raffle table. How many people bought tickets vs how many people actually came? Did you have to get gaming licenses to do a raffle?
If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it! TY!

With that in mind, for our social tickets we ordered them off of Vista-Print (just a business card), and hand wrote the ticket numbers and "SUPPORT" on about 1/3 of them.

So the pic above is our tickets, on the back is where we wrote on it. On the left we put SUPPORT and on the right we put the ticket number (only numbered the support though for the cash prize. If you want to have a door prize for those who are attending just write the same number on both sides).

Distinquishing tickets for people who want to come vs people that want to support is so smart!

I'm over in Manitoba so if you need any help in that planning I've got you! lol Our social is actually coming up in a few weeks (March 29th).

We have already sold out of tickets to attend ($10 each!!), and have sold support tickets as well ($10 each). The way we got people to want to buy support other than people just normally doing that to support was we threw in the fact that it will enter you in to a draw for $200 cash Smiley smile

It is all up to the type of people who buy your tickets though, I can't see more than a dozen not showing up but can let you know after the social!

As for the license for the raffle - here in MB we have different licenses and there is basically an all-in-one for us (www.myLGCA.ca) but here is the link to the site for the AGCO: www.AGCO.ca.
