Buck and doe advice

Hailey, on April 15, 2020 at 19:44 Posted in Before the wedding 0 2

Hello fellow brides ! I am like many of you getting married in July 2020 ( hopefully) My buck and doe was scheduled for June 6 but it’s not looking like we will be able to have that .I am just looking to see if anybody out there has done a buck and doe after the wedding or an online buck and doe.? I already have a ton of donated prizes and raffles for the buck and doe and I don’t want to see them go to waste I’m just looking for ideas in this very difficult time

Not sure about the licensing over in Ontario - but had this happened to us we would have probably postponed the entire wedding and activities by a year. In order to have the raffles you need a license (at least in MB). Of course this means that some of the items that were donated (coupons/certificates) might expire - but we would have just gone to where we got them and I'm sure they would be happy to provide new ones at a later time for the new date of the social.

If you are unable to move the wedding and related activities like the stag & doe then I would say that it depends on the friends and family you have. I know that nobody over here in MB would bat an eye at a social that had to be moved but we love socials and will go to a social even if we don't know the people throwing it Smiley tongue Other provinces are a bit more uptight about fundraisers...
