Buck & Doe Countdown

Piece of advice is to create a checklist and for the wedding party to know if they are helping in any matter of games or tickets to know your SIL and know what they would be responsible for the event.

Our MOHs threw us a Buck & Buck putting together games, prizes and raffle arranging responsibilities within themselves. They also got us drinking cups with lids matching our badges amazingly GROOM TO BE.

Oh gosh that would have been stressful for me! Thankfully that was one of the first things they did as they were super excited to get that done.

The door prize if you're doing one.

My mom said early in the planning process that she'd take care of the door prize, so I scratched that off my to-do list and put it out of my mind completely.

Night of the social, one of our bridal party asked "so what is the door prize?" and that's when I realized my mom forgot to get one.

I have never been to a Buck/Stag & Doe - but based on all the wedding socials I have been to and my own that is coming up in just over a month.... I would say that one of the main things most people leave to the last minute are printing out the raffle prize descriptions!

Make sure you print up those, and make posters saying what alcohol is available, posters where you just have to fill in the winning ticket numbers, and if you are doing a 50/50 and texas mickey to have the most charismatic people being the ones to sell!

Oh, and make sure whoever has the liquor licence, isn't drinking!
