Where is everyone getting there bridesmaids gifts from? Also do we have to give gifts to our whole wedding party?

I know this is a dead topic but this is exactly why I'm getting their names on their gifts instead of titles! I want them to be able to use their gift again Smiley smile

I didn't do proposal boxes. I got personalized cookies for $12 apiece. For gifts, so far I've purchased 31 clutches for each, jelly belly champagne beans, a shawl (for the unpredictable April weather), the deposits for hair and make up and likely a Tiffany bracelet, haven't purchased the last part yet.

For the bridesmaid proposal I browsed the Sale Accessory section on the Chapters-Indigo website, got really nice soap and a make up bag and spent about $15 per bridesmaid.

Fiancé didn't do a groomsman proposal, he just asked them. For the groomsman gift he got everyone an engraved flask and small bottle of whiskey, and their ties (in the wedding colour)

I got the bridesmaids a large tote bag, a robe, some small Body Shop body scrubs/lip balm, a face mask, and a little charm so they could tell their bags apart, and I contributed $50 to their bridesmaid dresses because the dresses I picked were a bit more expensive. Luckily I got all of the other gifts at half off or more as I ordered them on Black Friday

Definitely give one to all girls if you are doing it.
For my girls, I bought some hankerchiefs off Etsy that have ‘bridesmaid’ and ‘maid of honour’ on them, and I will probably get them all either a pashmina or a stemless champagne flute Smiley smile etsy is great for this, just check the reviews out first

I don't know where I'm getting the gifts from, but I think it is nice to give gifts to everyone.

I passed on the wedding party proposal gift since it wasn't worth doing twice as to the day of giving another gift.

Personally, I just went simple and easy for perfume sample sets for our MOHs and cologne sets for BM (Best Men). You have a lot to worry about vendors and costs that may come as a surprise. Set a reasonable budget that will not break your bank at the same time. I spent less than $100 each person in whole and not a cent paid out of my pocket. Luckily, I had enough points on my shoppers card to pay for it all.

I'm giving a box of stuff to my MOH and to our mothers. They'll be filled with little things like soap, handcream, etc., and one really nice piece of jewelry.

I wanted to do little proposal boxes that have a card that reads will you be my bridesmaid when they open it. And then get mini bottles of wine with a label that reads our wedding info (date etc.) and then a stemless wine glass with their name on it. And little knot earrings or knot bracelets with a card that reads I can't tie the knot without you will you be my bridesmaid?
And then the day of I was thinking the robes with hangers with their names on it, and maybe a bracelet or necklace.

My wedding is in 5 days, so also January... haha. Part of the reason I included the slipper socks... so they can wear the robes and socks while we are getting ready. I strongly suggest waiting for some of those awesome Black Friday or Boxing Day sales to grab some goodies for your girls. You can get more for your money, and add 'extras' to a base gift, such as a getting ready robe.

I only had 3 girls, so all the items together cost about $50, just over. My FH has 7 groomsmen, so his gifts were less than $20 each.

For the proposal boxes I ended up spending roughly $25-$30 per girl (5 of them) and my FH just flatly asked his GM which was $0 Smiley tongue

Haven't bought the thank you gifts yet but they will have a budget of $75-$150 per girls/guy. With that being said, if I had a smaller wedding party it would be a bit more, and if it was a larger wedding party then it would be a bit less.

(P.S. make sure you "reply" to a comment rather than just commenting in your own discussion so that we get a notification that you did so - it just so happened that I was browsing some of the old discussions such as this one)

I like all of those ideas!! I didn't even think of looking on Amazon!! I like the idea of clothing that they can re ware. I'm having a January wedding so I would prefer something warm. How much did you guys spend on each gift for each girl?

Do you mean like for Bridesmaids proposals or for the gifts on the day of?

For the proposals this is what I did: Bridesmaid proposal boxes

For the gifts on the day of, I will probably give the bridesmaids Pandora bracelets with a charm or a nice necklace

The groomsmen are all up to my FH to decide - not my problem Smiley tongue

It's up to you, but gifts for the entire wedding party are almost always given. It can be anything from paying for your girls makeup, to giving the guys a flask with their names on it. The only thing that I don't like the idea of is giving things with "bridesmaid" or "groomsman" on it because they will most likely never use it.

** I got the robes on Amazon. They were about $29, and delivered on Prime. I bought a white one for myself, a lilac one for my mom, and black for the girls. They are awesome quality, and they fit to size, and are adequate length too.

Yes. If you give a gift to one girl, you need to get something for everyone. And they should be the same, or same price point. If you want to give a MOH something more or different, I suggest giving it in private.
I am giving my 3 girls a robe (plain, not the bridesmaid ones, I want them to be able to rewear them), slipper socks, scrunchies, and a pair of earrings. The socks and scrunchies were on clearance at Christmas, so that's just some cheesy extra stuff. They will also all get a thank you card with a personal note from me inside.
