Bridal party proposal

We didn't do any of boxes or baskets for our wedding party. We went to them or spoke to them directly to ask them and accepted. One though did let me know she was going to move and not be able to stand up beside me. She was my co worker and best friend who I had known for the longest time and still showed up for the wedding and was happy to see her. I did ask someone close to be my MOH.

Yes, we did these for bridesmaids and groomsmen. As 2 of my groomsmen are my fiancee's family (brother and adult son) she put them together with help from me, while 1 of her bridesmaids is a co-worker of mine so I put that one together with help from her. Some of these people we had over at our home for dinner and asked them then, others we did at restaurants and we had to wait until traveling to B.C. to ask my best man.

I was so exicted that I just basically blurted it out to the ones I wanted (I even called one who lives in AB, while I was at work lol), not very calm or collected LOL (tho haven't asked the JR Bridesmaid yet, or the 2 ring bearers or flower girl - going to do something fun for them)...

And then about a year later, at a girls' dinner with a GF and a girl I already asked to in the wedding, I sent my Fiance a text saying "I have also always really, really, really wanted to have Sarah stand up with us - do you have someone else you want on your side or worse case we are odd numbers?!"...So I asked her over sushi lol

We have been in influx for almost 3 years (been engaged for 4) when it comes to planning, so I am planning on doing something for them when we put a deposit down on a venue and the ball is rolling again

I made custom wine labels and gave them a scrunchie over the bottle neck.
Wanted to make sure it was a consumable useable gift that wasn't forgotten about ♥️

I ordered a few proposal boxes but I still have to give out my bridesmaids boxes cause I already gave my MOH hers. (Covid put a damper on that)

I made this basket for my bestie. She knew from the minute I was engaged she was my MOH, so I didnt really need to "ask" but I LOVE giving gifts and making stuff, so this was an easy one to do. Made the card, wine glass, keychain and make-up pouch. Then I added some self-care items to prep for the big day haha

I opted for "Babe of Honor" on all the items as I just feel like Matron of Honor sounds so...old lol

I made a box for my MOH with a personalized cup she and I will both use when we see getting married, a personalized candle that was "I cannot say I do without my fave person" a few other smaller things and a card explaining our friendship/asking her to be my MOH

I only have my MOH standing up for me so I had made her a card that said "I can't do this without you, will you be my maid of honor?" As well a wine glass with maid of honor on it

Yeah, this was thankfully pre-covid for us. But if I had to do it during covid, I probably would've just offered to get takeout and eat it in their backyard.

Same boxes, but addressed differently to the bridesmaids and MOH

I took my guys out for lunch and my wife did the same with her girls.

Are the boxes different for each bridesmaid?

That looks soo good! I made my bridesmaids scratch tickets, so after they scratched the area it said "will you he my bridesmaid?" under. Then I also got them a little pouch that says brides bases and put a few little goodies in there and gifted them a bottle of wine with it. 2 of them lived in a different province so I got everything for them shipped to my auntie and she arranged the surprise for them with me on video chat!
