It is! I just went to Michael's and bought a pre-made one for $15 dollars

I kept my bouquet as a keepsake. What I did was I bought a seperate bouquet just to use for the bouquet toss

I don’t want to toss my bouquet, I want to keep it as a keepsake. My fiancé is pumped about the idea of tossing the garter (mainly because he wants his best man - single - to catch it so he can introduce him to a single gf of mine), which I think is sweet. How do we do his thing but also I can keep my bouquet??

I'm not going to do it, or the garter. It just seems weird, uncomfortable and outdated. I've seen one thing where someone threw a plush cat the person who caught it was the next to adopt a pet. That seemed fun, but most people my fiance and I are inviting are older relatives, and a few friends, so it doesn't seem worth it. Plus, we'd have to move outside to do it, which would just be awkward. We want a calm reception, with good food, music and speeches.

Thank you! My brother in laws girlfriend was the one the caught my bouquet! And my brother in law caught my garter Smiley xd Funny thing! They got engaged 2 days later!!

A lot of people are skipping the old traditions these days. My husband and I weren't going to do either one until last minute my husband said to me he really wanted to do it lol

    Those are great photos!
Planning to skip it, not strongly for or against it. We’re actually not doing anything traditional after the reception.
