So excited!!! I think I like planning this more than my wedding! Thanks to Valerie for the Champagne Brunch idea! I can't wait!!!!

    My initial thought is that the cherry blossoms in High Park never came last year- something about the winter being too mild and then not warming up early enough? I would be so sad for you if you waited and didn't get the pictures you wanted!

    I do really like the idea to use an engagement photo with the invites to the engagement party. Also consider: will you or your FH be enjoying champagne at the party? I don't know about you, but two glasses of the bubbles and my face would be red and my eyes would get all fuzzy looking- not ideal for getting beautiful pictures!

    In summary- I would plan to do photos before the engagement party, but have an alternative location, should mother nature decide to be a jerk two years in a row.

    Well that's the conundrum right now. Our photographer is giving is a free Engagement shoot and I want to take pictures when then cherry blossoms are out which is late April early May , but our party is early June. So if I want her photos for our engagement invites then I need to do pics in April. If I want June, the photographer agreed to take photos after our engagement party! So just have to figure that out. Thoughts?
