Blended families

What are some ways you have chosen to incorporate your children into the ceremony? My son is currently 4 and will be 6 when his new best friend and mommy say "I do." We are having a beach wedding and I thought of having my FH say vows to not only myself, but our son. I also would like to find an age appropriate way to include him in our special day.

    Thank you for sharing. That will defiantly be a special time for everyone! I love the idea of a jr groomsmen. After doing some researching and asking questions I think he is going to be a little groomsmen and he will walk me down the aisle with my dad. My FH will be saying vows to the two of us

    We have 6 children between the 2 of us.

    we both each have a boy one is 9 the other 10 (10/11 when we wed) they will stand up there with him as jr groomsman

    he has a daughter who will be 9 when we wed and she will be with me as jr bridesmaid

    we both have sons 3/4 (4/5 when we wed) who will carry the rings

    and he has a 3 yr old daughter (4 when wed) who will do the flowers.

    I saw a bride use an empty shadow box (a box with a clear front) and pure 3 different coloured sands into it to represent the joining of their family. Would be cool for you guys since you will be on the beach! Attached some pics for you
