Best place to honeymoon

Depends on what time of year you are travelling! That will determine the budget for sure. Cuba is beautiful but if you are big foodies, the food in the resorts are not so great! Planning a day trip to Havana is totally worth it. Alot of history there! I would go to Europe hands down! Again depending on the time of year Portugal is great, and my friends just came back from Iceland and said it was amazing , and not as expensive as some may think! But in the end it has to work for you.

Cuba is a strong contender!

We've driven the coast so many times and while we love it. It wouldn't feel much like a honeymoon because of the routine of it all. My fiance's dad lives in San franscisco so we often drive down to visit him.

I definitely recommend Europe! For warm destinations... Wow! There are many you could look up and for great food, and amazing weather, you could look up the south of Spain around April. What destinations are on your wish-list?

For someone on a strict budget, Cuba is decently priced! I went there back in 2011 and one of the main reasons we chose to go there was because it was way cheaper then anywhere else. There were also a lot of options for excursions so you aren't just sitting around the beach or pool all day! I went on a catamaran for the day and we got to snorkel in the ocean, we went swimming with the dolphins, and then we went to a private beach party where we were served lunch. We went on a safari day where we were in jeeps going through the forests and such. We got to go on a tour bus with the resort and ended up in an old mall that we got to look around. We had shows at the resort every night and one of them, they pulled myself and my cousin up to learn a dance! There were other options as well but these are the ones that we chose to take part in!

I see you are in BC- what about drinving down the coast as a road trip type honeymoon? It might not be as laid back, but I think great bonding time and great sites to see! You could end up on a beach in Cailfornia there is some great history to be learned about the trails down the coast.

Cuba is hot,cheap and has tons of history! I went to Varadaro a few years ago and we rented mopeds and drove around and out to Al Capone's house and it was amazing!!
