Hi everyone! I’m getting married on Aug 7, 2021 at the Fairmont Hotsprings. Anyone know a wedding officiant close to the area? Thanks!! 😊

I am getting married august, 7th too! But my fiancé’s dad just got married and they used https://www.younghipandmarried.com/ they have multiple officiants and are very flexible

Check with the Fairmont Hotsprings. Since it's a popular spot to get married, they might have some people in mind already.

BC is weirdly strict and controlling with who they let perform wedding ceremonies. You’ll need to either use a marriage commissioner (check the B.C. gov website for more info), find a religious official that can perform a wedding, or use an officiant company - I believe these officiants are technically affiliated with a religion but they perform non-religious ceremonies.
