We are debating right now to have a band or a DJ. The DJ comes with our venue so it would not be at any extra cost. Did you regret not having a band at your wedding?

I personally think that a band provides a bit more entertainment than a DJ. We are thinking of having a band if dancing is still not allowed in the next few months. If dancing is allowed, a DJ will suffice in my opinion.

Definitely depends on what kind of music you're wanting to be played and any variety. Typically, bands play one certain genre, so if that's fine with you, then go for it.
I personally prefer a DJ to play all kinds of songs.
