    About 6 months.
    He moved to Canada last July but we set a date and “officially” got engaged last December.

    October 31, 2017 I knew it was coming we had planned since August that we would be getting engaged. I told him I wanted the proposal to be a surprise even tho I knew it was coming. So he waited to the last minute and lied about not getting the ring and surprised me late at night. He tied the ring on to my dogs puppy collar. He handed me the colour and asked me if she was that little. I apparently looked at it for a while and then noticed the pink ribbon. He asked me where it came from. Being tired as I just got home from my 3 hous photography class I said it probably came from work because I brought it in for when the kids had a pet interest. That’s when I untied it and the ring came off and he was kneeling behind me on one knee and asked me to marry him. He left it to the last minute, but he did surprise me Smiley smile

    We got engaged on Christmas so we’ve been engaged for 6 months!
