Bachelorette Party - New York or New Orleans

I vote New Orleans 100%!!! Nola seems like it was made for bachelorettes

Everything is really convenient and walk-able in New Orleans. The fact that you're allowed to walk around with an open alcoholic beverage is also pretty amazing! You can drink all day, or be touristy, and there are tons of options for activities - we did a ghost tour that was a big hit. There are always a few bach parties there at any given time, so restaurants are used to big groups and I had no issues making reservations for 15 people.

Lafitte's, the Carousel Bar at Hotel Monteleone, and Cat's Meow were my favorites!

NOLA is a great destination to inspire fun goodies, t-shirts, and decor for the bach party. I bought everyone cups that said "Yeaux Leaux" (for YOLO):

I think both places would be amazing!!!! I would say New Orleans, but it depends on the crowd that's going. If the group is move into City Life then New York would be the better option. But if the group prefers, culture, music, history etc I would say New Orleans. I would love New Orleans just for the food and music alone. You just gave me an awesome idea for my Bachelorette party!!!!

I feel like New Orleans would be easier to plan for a group that size, especially in the summer.

Ohh, how exciting! If it were me I'd choose New Orleans, they have amazing food, culture, and music, and it's warmer. I'm hoping to take my husband there for his birthday in a year or two (don't tell him!). NY is fine, I imagine more of the guests may have been there before so it might be easier to organize, but it might be more unique to do NOLA.
