Bachelorette party?

Paige, on June 2, 2020 at 17:25 Posted in Before the wedding 0 13
Hi! I’m getting married on October 3rd, 2020 and originally, I wanted to go bar hopping one weekend in late August. My bridesmaids are asking me to come up with a backup plan if COVID continues to spread. Does anyone have any “neat” or “different” ideas? TIA!! 🥰

    Do a cottage weekend!
Rent a cottage for the weekend, get drinks, bathing suits for your bridal party and just spend the time together there, maybe rent a boat so you can do a little boat cruises.
Just an idea, that way you aren't going places to prevent infection but staying all together in once place! Smiley smile

You could still bar hop sort of: a house hop. If a few of your girls are up for hosting each of them could have a theme at their house and you could have DDs drive all of you to each one.

Do you have access to a firepit? Bbq? Big yard or park? If you can't go bar hopping just get the girls over, have a bbq, or a wine, cheese and meat party...a whole bunch of cocktails and wine, and maybe a chick flick or 2? Or have a poker night in there, nothing like winning some money the night of your Bachelorette party! Or even play some yard games like yardzie or croquet?
I think I also need a back up plan for mine, I was going to go to a comedy club for dinner and drinks, then head back to the house and complete everything above lol
So if Covid is still rampant next year then it would just be the ladder lol.

My bachelorette back up (which is now the current plan regardless because I fell in love with it) is a fancy epic sleep over! Not sure if you have ever seen Gossip Girl, but if so, think Blair Waldorf style. The girls are bringing in a private chef, there will be cocktails, at home spa treatments, silky pyjamas and a mini fashion show. I can't wait!
