Hello brides,
I am reaching out to see if there is anyone else getting married on this day and how you’re all feeling this far. We were suppose to be married August 28 of this year and we postponed because of Covid restrictions Smiley sad We are hoping for around 115 guests but at this point we are not wanting to postpone again and will just work with what the restrictions are. We are having an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. However this poses a problem with sending out save the dates / invites because you won’t know for sure what the restrictions are until closer to the date. I don’t want to have to un-invite people… I would feel terrible. I was hoping to send out save the dates in January or February. Anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?? Do I wait even longer to send save the dates?? Send them out in waves?? What to do.. any advice is appreciated! Happy planning!!

Our date is in June 2022. I would send out your save the dates and if people don't get a follow up formal invitation later on they will connect the dots that things have changed. You could also put your wedding website on them and have an "updates" section/page that you can keep people in the loop with and have them check.

I’m thinking positive for my august 4, 2022 wedding as well. I don’t plan on having saving the date just the invitation which I haven’t get them yet. My wedding was supposed to be august 2020 but we postponed twice due to covid. Some family members can’t make it since they’re coming from the Thailand and the states. But next year I don’t want to reschedule it again. I’m hoping that things will get better next august!🤞🏽 Best of luck to you!😍❤️

I think 2022 will be a big turning point for weddings from the last 2 years...we postponed our Feb wedding and will be getting married this Jan. We were lucky that the room we booked actually has a movable wall that makes the room huge. We are able to invite everyone we were going to plus they dropped the minimum amount of people we have to pay for. Everyone has to be vaccinated and show proof but other than masks and a little distancing we can have a fairly normal wedding. We are so excited to get past this hurdle. So as long as restrictions don't get crazy again we will be all good. Your wedding is way after ours so I'll keep positive thoughts for all the brides coming up.... for save the dates I would talk to your venue about what they are allowing right now. In Jan or Feb send those people your save the dates and as it increases send out more....best of luck
