Asking your original bridesmaids and moh and groomsmen in a vow renewal

Proposal boxes are nice and a great way to ask your friends to be in your wedding party. Congrats on your 30+ Vow Renewal. They will appreciate it and be your side up front.

I generally just ask directly to know its personal as they are long term friends as you mentioned.

I love this idea, especially if you are all still close! I think it would be really fun to ask them and have them stand with you again. Not tacky at all in my opinion!

Yup, we are all still friends even though we live hours apart. Couldn't imagine my life without them!

Congrats on 30+ years. If I'm still that close to my peeps after all this time and I was asked to stand up there as they restate their commitment to one another, I would consider it an honour to be part of the celebration. And if your wedding party hit it off 30 years ago but haven't seen each other much since, it's a fun way to catch up.

I think if you want them to be there with you then it is t tacky!


I would do a little proposal like "I couldn't imagine my wedding without you years ago, and I couldn't do it again without you by my side".
